Key Responsibilities:
To facilitate and ensure accurate and timely implementation of all Sponsorship Business processes and activities within the assigned catchment area. (Correspondence, special mailings, GNs, monitoring and participation for all Registered Children- through community-based structures). To maintain updated digital Child information and quality-rich media for effective supporter engagement and the attainment of the Child Well-being Outcomes. and help to maintain the relationship between sponsors and children and their families while ensuring that sustain child-focused used development and disaster management advocacy-based projects benefit all children in the community.
Child Monitoring and Participation

Work with Community Based Organization (CBOs), volunteers, and other community structures in visiting every registered child within their area of work at least twice every six months (one recorded sighting and one recorded home visit).

Provide mentorship to CBOs and volunteers in ensuring entry of accurate, consistent, and valid child information on a timeliness basis on the mobile phone for the purpose of designing, compilation, and processing Annual Progress reports and Christmas cards as monitoring tools for registered children in the community.

Provide a linkage between World Vision and the community, sponsors, and the children and their families.

Involve the community structures, CBOs, volunteers, children, and their parents in child monitoring and producing documentation on the wellbeing of children.

Facilitate the integration of community-based Sponsorship programming activities within ADP projects and the three pillars of ministry (TD, HEA, and Advocacy)

Ensure that Registered Children participate in age-appropriate activities in other TPs and partner activities
Correspondence and Communication Management
-
Empower CBOs, volunteers, and children in the production of Farewell letters, introductory letter-writing, and child media (Child greeting videos, child greeting photos, child update videos and child update photos, general sponsor letters, e-letters, sponsor queries, SO queries and communications between children and their sponsors.

Mobilize CBOs, volunteers, and other community structures to collect data for the APR, Christmas cards, and sponsor letters within the set time and submit within standard time.

Research and respond to Support Office queries, through CBOs and volunteers and submit them to the AP office
Child record and Information Management

Maintain an up-to-date register of registered children under the care community-based structures per village.

Ensure that every child has a personal file with an updated memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the parent and WV and relevant information as per standard.

Work with the Volunteers to capture, document, and share lessons, good practices, and innovations to improve sponsorship Management

Ensure 95% adherence to Sponsorship standards and follow up on child well-being gaps in the field with Volunteers through case management for Children and ensure update of digital child file for all RC. (Including Holds)

Monitor the security and manage the risk of child information and Sponsorship system

Ensure all horizon phones are upgraded, Process all correspondences in Horizon SSUI as appropriate

Maintain security of Sponsorship data, system resources, and sponsor addresses and ensure implementation of all Sponsorship systems and software support

Submission of child abuse incident reports, child drop case studies, spontaneous letters for children and families leaving the community, death reports, and others when the need arises

Share quality impact stories, photos, and videos with stakeholders.
Sponsorship in Programming Activities

Monitor development, disaster management, and advocacy activities in the community and provide updated reports to the Development Facilitators and other relevant stakeholders.

Create opportunities for children to voice out and share their views and encourage children to participate in age-appropriate activities in the community

Create opportunities for community-Based Organisations to be empowered and increase community-led care and protection in the community

Ensure integration of sponsorship with other development, disaster management, and advocacy initiatives, and help communities to profile their work through the production of documentation and community videos.
Required Professional Experience
-
At least 3 years' experience in working with children
-
Willingness to learn disaster Management and advocacy and how these impact child well-being aspirations
-
Basic knowledge of child rights and child protection policies and issues

Ability to work with children their families and their communities

Ability to nurture Christian values in children and their families
-
Knowledge of the local community and proof of residing there permanently
Required Qualifications training, license, registration, and certification

Senior Certificate (Matriculation) with good grades in English and Mathematics
Preferred Knowledge

Team player.

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Good Interpersonal skills.

Ability to train communities in Revised Child Monitoring Standards (RCMS) and Sponsorship Basic Training (SBT)

Competent in basic computer skills
