Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, energetic & customer-focused Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead our service team and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations, maintaining service standards, managing staff & building strong customer relationships.
Key duties include, but not limited to:
- Ensure exceptional customer service & guest satisfaction at all times.
- Lead, train, motivate & develop staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor & maintain restaurant standards for food quality, cleanliness & ambiance.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, issues & complaints.
- Create staff schedules & manage labour costs.
- Responsible for stock control, including counts, ordering, production & variance reports.
- Support & drive marketing initiatives & local promotional activities.
- Manage online & social media engagement & communications.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership & interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in this position
- Fluent in English
- Reliable transport & ability to work evenings, weekends & public holidays
- Excel proficient
- South African citizenship
- Clear Criminal Record
