To collect milk from designated milk farmers and deliver to the production plant. To ensure that the milk collected is aligned with the company quality standards and is kept secure on route. To accurately record the litres collected and to act proactively to ensure that the plant does not stand without milk.
Role Requirements:
• Grade 12/ matric and/or equivalent.
- Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PRDP is essential.
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in driving tanker trucks / code 14 trucks / refrigerated trucks within a Dairy Manufacturing environment and/or Cheese Processing and/ or FMCG (cold chain) environment is a must have.
Key Performance Areas:
- Ensure efficient operations in milk collection and delivery.
- Ensure the milk collected is accurately recorded and aligned to the company Food Safety standards
- Health & Safety – constantly monitor the vehicle including the temperature and communicate preventative maintenance requirements.
- Ensure full statutory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements.
- Adhere closely to daily load plans.
- Always adhere to the green band driving.

Experience:
- driving tanker or code 14 trucks: 5 years (Preferred)
- tanker trucks/refrigerated trucks within a Dairy: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- code 14 licence with PRDP (Preferred)
