Position Overview: As a Tasting Ambassador, you will be the face of our winery, guiding guests through wine tastings, sharing the story behind each bottle, and creating memorable experiences for every visitor. Your role will be to bring the world of wine to life, combining education with outstanding hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for wine and a desire to engage with guests from all over the world.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead wine tastings with enthusiasm, providing insightful information about the wines, vineyard practices, and food pairings.

Deliver an exceptional guest experience by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere in the tasting room.

Educate guests on the winemaking process, the history of the winery, and wine varieties, tailoring each presentation to different levels of knowledge.

Assist guests with selecting wines for purchase, sharing food pairing recommendations, and answering any questions about the wine collection.

Work collaboratively with the winery team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the tasting room.

Set up and break down tasting events, ensuring the tasting room is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Maintain knowledge of inventory, pricing, promotions, and winery events to effectively promote products.

Support special events, wine clubs, and private tasting experiences.

Handle transactions and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting.
Qualifications:

Passion for wine and customer service; previous experience in wine, hospitality, or retail is a plus.

Outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication skills.

Ability to explain complex wine concepts in a fun and approachable way to guests with varying levels of wine knowledge.

Strong sales skills with the ability to recommend wines and promote winery memberships.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.

Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

Sommelier or wine certification (e.g., WSET) is a bonus but not required—wine education will be provided.
