We are looking for a Butchery Manager to join our team!
As a Butchery Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with customers, run promotions, receive stock of acceptable standard and take weekly perpetual stock take. This position will be responsible for knowing exactly the different cuts of meat.
What you'll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Help customers, run promotions, and make sure the meat in stock is good quality
- Keep track of the amount of meat available by doing weekly checks
- Understand different types of meat cuts and guide staff and customers in choosing
- Receive and check stock to make sure it's good enough
- Count how much stock there is every week
- Plan and do promotions to sell more meat
- Work with the marketing team to advertise fresh meat products
- Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability
- Adhere to production schedules for timely delivery of fresh meat products
- Show that you can cut meat really well to make the products look great
