We are looking for a Traffic manager to coordinate and manage the workflow of projects within our internal business marketing team. Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage the workflow of projects, ensuring on-time and
- within-budget delivery.
- Serve as the central point of contact for product and creative teams,
- providing clear communication on project timelines, deliverables, and
- expectations.
- Work closely with the Product Team to understand and manage the high level
- business projects
Scheduling and Resource Management:
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are assigned and deadlines are met.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to maximize productivity and meet project demands.
- Be able to understand individual specialities in the marketing team
- Monitor performance and be able to drive the outcomes of individual team members daily.
- Understand the resource constraints across the business to inform your project timelines and deliverables.
- Be able to motivate individuals within a team.
- Hold people accountable and manage expectations across the project.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with executives, creative teams, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure all necessary assets and information are provided.
- Conduct daily status meetings with project teams to review project milestones, identify risks, and adjust priorities as needed.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project details, including revisions, approvals, and final deliverables.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and project management methodologies to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within the team.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Compliance and Administration:
- Develop and consistently generate progress reports to keep the business informed about current marketing campaigns.
- Capacity planning, risk reporting, and mitigation.
- Facilitating creative workflow planning with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Department Heads.
- Maintain records of employee work hours and hours spent on each project
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred skills/experience:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Operations Management:
- Expertise in managing TTL (Above the Line and Below the Line) campaigns.
- Expertise in managing digital campaigns.
- Project Management: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Trello, Jira
- Campaign Management: Leading and coordinating campaigns from initial stages through to delivery.
- Crisis Management and Problem Solving: Ability to handle issues as they arise to keep projects on schedule.
- Digital Knowledge: Solid knowledge of social media advertising platforms and
- Google AdWords. Must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Google Ads, Facebook ads, Twitter, Tik-Tok.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong resourcing and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project deliverables.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Tech Obsessed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
- Experience working agency as a traffic manager for a minimum of three years.
- Experience working on digital campaigns across platforms.
- Experience working in a digital media agency.
- Understanding of the full marketing mix and campaign management including briefing agencies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and planning skills.
