About this Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager to lead the daily operations of our Jaguar and Land Rover specialist workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing workshop productivity, managing a team of technicians, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction and driving operational efficiency and profitability. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership and managerial skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a premium automotive environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Minimum 5–8 years experience in the automotive industry
- At least 3 years experience in a workshop management role
- Proven experience working on luxury vehicle brands
- Knowledge of RMI standards and health and safety legislation
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all daily workshop operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
- Monitor vehicle turnaround times and ensure jobs are completed within agreed deadlines
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity and technical standards
- Identify training and development needs
- Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery
- Monitor technician workmanship and implement corrective action where necessary
- Assist in resolving technical customer concerns and complaints
- Work closely with the Sales & Parts Consultant to ensure parts availability

Market-related
Pay: Up to R35 000,00 per month
