Our client is a market leader in motor engineering, engine remanufacturing, truck, bus and heavy vehicle refurbishment as well as repairs, heavy and diesel fuel injection services. They have branches located in Pretoria, Middelburg, Steelpoort, Potchefstroom, Kimberley as well as Gaborone in Botswana
Requirements
- · MUST have working/hands on knowledge of diesel engines
- · Knowledge of Cummins, Deutz, Detroit & Perkins engines necessary
- · MUST be available immediately (non-negotiable)
- · Trade Certificate either as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or Automotive Machinist
- · MUST have experience dealing with clients, preparing quotations, sourcing parts, job cards
- · A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sourcing parts, preparation of quotations & invoicing (Non-negotiable)
- · Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook)
- · A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Job Management
- · In-depth knowledge of required engine parts for repairs
- · Knowledge of AutoPlan Workshop Management Software (advantageous)
- · Ability to communicate with technicians, clients and other stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
- · Managing an engine repair job from receiving, stripping and repair to final assembly and delivery
- · Ensuring all required parts and consumables are quoted for and ordered.
- · Sourcing required engine parts for repairs
- · Preparation of quotations and sending them to clients/customers and following up on quotations
- · Ensuring all documentation is accurate
- · On-time and accurate Invoicing to client.
Remuneration, Benefits & Incentives
- R30 000 Basic + Provident Fund
