The company is seeking a dynamic, professional, and sales-driven projects consultant to promote and grow its premium surface brands within the architectural, construction, and design industries.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, Developers, Quantity Surveyors, InteriorDesigners, and Contractors.
Drive specification sales and business development opportunities.
Promote products through presentations, networking, training sessions, and industry events.
Manage leads, quotations, pricing requests, product samples, and customer enquiries.
Provide technical product advice and support throughout project lifecycles.
Identify new business opportunities and increase market share.
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage key client relationships.
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 qualification.
2–5 years' experience in sales, business development, public relations, interior design, or a related industry.
Proven experience within the construction, architectural, building materials, interior design, or specification sales environment.
Strong track record of working with architects, developers, designers, and contractors.
Experience in project-based selling, account management, and tender processes.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
Strong communication, presentation, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Package:
Basic monthly salary: Market related (not commission-based).
Package includes a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop and company uniform.
Three-month probation period applies.
Provident Fund after successful completion of probation.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00.
