Main Purpose of the Job
To assist with mould and tool manufacture/maintenance for the production of polycarbonate enclosures.
Education, experience and competencies
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Fitter & Turner/ Toolmaker/Machinist NTC 3 (Red Seal)
- Qualified in Cad Cam and CNC operation
- Min 10 years trade experience
- Valid Drivers License
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manufacture required units and systems in accordance with approved engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform visual inspections to verify that completed products conform to approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production area in accordance with established housekeeping schedules and standards.
- Perform ad hoc duties and additional tasks as assigned by management to support ongoing company operations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality by identifying and escalating poor-quality work or products to the relevant supervisor.
- Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming products to the Manager in accordance with established quality procedures.
- Accurately record time spent on each job or product on the job card, ensuring that all work conducted is properly documented
Pay: R4 350,46 - R17 516,97 per month
