Data Capturer
Job Brief
As a Data Capturer at Urang Property Management, you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of our data records. Your responsibilities include entering and monitoring data from various sources, updating internal systems, and verifying information. Additionally, you will track key company metrics, manage communications related to task completion, and support improvements to company processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to data protection standards.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in remote working and who lives within an easy commute to Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
Responsibilities
Data Entry
- Accurately capture and input data from various platforms, including emails, verbal communications, and internal databases.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy and completeness of incoming data.
- Update internal databases to reflect changes and maintain data integrity.
Administration:
- Track key company information such as portfolio size, block movements, gained/lost business, and relevant client data.
- Monitor internal processes and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of associated tasks.
- Manage email and telephone communications to ensure tasks are completed as required.
Processing:
- Work with Microsoft Excel and internal software systems to manage and process data.
- Highlight areas of concern to senior management promptly.
- Assist in setting up and improving company templates and processes.
Compliance:
- Observe the highest possible standards in relation to client and customer confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with internal software systems.
- Understanding of data protection legislation and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
Working Hours: 09:00 to 18:00, Monday – Friday
Salary: R16,000 - R18,000 per month (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
