Company Overview:
We are a dynamic company specialising in furniture design and interior design. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. If you are passionate about design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to diverse projects, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating detailed design plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Model and render designs using SketchUp and Enscape.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
- Develop and manage design documentation, including quotes, proposals, budgets, and purchase orders.
- Select and specify lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, and finishes.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet the company’s standards for quality and creativity.
Requirements:
- Degree in Interior Design with 2+ years of professional experience, or recent graduates with extensive vacation work experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong 3D rendering skills using SketchUp and Enscape.
- Experience in selecting and specifying interior design elements.
- Knowledge of the purchasing process, including quotes, proposals, and budgets.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to varying project demands.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a good sense of humor.
- Bonus: Experience with social media or marketing.
Additional Information:
- The role requires flexibility to work across our various divisions: Marketing, and Interior Design.
- Candidates should ideally reside in or near Midrand, Northern Suburbs, or Centurion.
