General Worker / Mover Assistant – Ad Hoc
D & J Logistics (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced General Worker / Mover Assistant to assist with residential and office relocations on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in moving, removals, logistics, warehousing, or a similar role.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry furniture and household/office items.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking and professional.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must take care when handling customers’ belongings.
- Valid driver’s licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Must reside in or around Stellenbosch or Kuils River.
- Must be available for ad hoc/short-notice work, depending on bookings.
Duties
- Loading and unloading furniture and other items.
- Assisting with packing, wrapping and securing goods.
- Moving household and office furniture safely.
- Assisting the driver and moving team during relocations.
- Loading and securing items in trucks.
- Protecting customers’ property and ensuring items are handled with care.
- Assisting with general moving and logistics duties as required.
