AAH Construction is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager with strong experience in building maintenance and plumbing-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and delivering maintenance, construction, and plumbing projects in line with project scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client expectations within the built environment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in the Built Environment
- Must be actively registered with SACPCMP
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction project management, building maintenance, plumbing works, or a similar built environment role
- Proven experience in building maintenance and plumbing projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, maintenance works, plumbing systems, project planning, budgeting, quality control, and site coordination
- Ability to manage project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client expectations
- Good communication, reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy, including MS Office and project management tools
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building maintenance, plumbing, and construction projects from planning to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards
- Coordinate site teams, plumbers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Prepare project plans, progress reports, schedules, and cost updates
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance on site
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee maintenance activities, plumbing repairs, installations, and related site works
