We are looking for a competent Receptionist to join our Evergreen Lifestyle Village team at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl, South Africa’s most secure luxury lifestyle estate.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
· Daily reception duties (i.e. switchboard, taking messages, filing, setting up meetings or tours, etc.);
· Receiving residents, prospective purchasers, suppliers and visitors;
· Providing admin services to residents/staff (i.e. copies, e-mails, etc.);
· Keeping all lists updated (i.e. telephone, speed dial, emergency no.’s, landscaping allocation, pets, access registers, attendance registers, etc.);
· Cash-ups / Banking
· Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook & Internet Explorer
· Oral and written communications skills.
· Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable;
· Call persons waiting for visitor and book them a room to meet in;
· Coordinate General workers;
· Assist Village Manager with timesheets for staff;
· Give visitors badges and direct them to where they can sign in;
· Assist Security and Contractors;
· Collect and distribute parcels and other mail;
· Prepare Electricity vouchers;
· Take and relay messages;
· Update appointment calendars for Agents, and arrange keys and viewings for agents.
· Assist the restaurant in serving food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
