Applicants must be qualified Pharmacist Assistants or Technicians
Perform aseptic compounding according to a planned and unplanned schedule, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Production planning and raw material ordering. Performing operations within the Cleanroom, with skills and knowledge on aseptic and sterile manufacturing or compounding of pharmaceutical products.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
ACTION REQUIRED / INPUTS / OBJECTIVES
1. Aseptic Compounding
· Strictly adhere to aseptic technique at all times.
· Performing aseptic duties in a uniform, calm manor and to great accuracy.
· Follow work instruction sheet for preparation of the final product.
· Adhere to cleanroom behaviour at all times.
2. Gowning
· Annual qualification for gowning to be performed.
· Follow gowning procedure ensuring all steps are followed correctly, according to the SOP.
· Changing of sterile gloves and long sleeve cuffs between each batch.
3. Cleaning, Sanitisation and decontamination.
· Clean the LAF before and after each compounding process per batch as stipulated in the SOP.
· Cleaning and sanitisation of Cleanroom area and change rooms on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
· Cleaning and sanitisation of all equipment in the Cleanroom.
· Cleaning procedures and techniques to be adhered to.
· Assisting with transfer of raw materials and components if and when needed
4. Documentation and checks
· Complete all required logs.
· Perform daily balance checks.
· Ensure differential pressures are within limits for daily operations.
5. General
· Perform Stock counts within the production facility.
· Execution of production steps to ensure that a quality final product is produced.
· Ensure consumable levels are adequate for daily usage.
· Assist with Self-Inspections and Internal Audits.
· Overtime may be required.
6. Health and Safety
· Follow all health and safety regulations.
· All PPE should be donned as per Gowning SOP.
· Refer to SDS for any product abnormalities, deviations or spills as per procedure.
· All spillages will be handled as per Spillage procedure.
7. SOPs
· Assist with the writing of relevant production SOPs
8. Training
· Ensure training on all relevant SOP’s are completed and up to date.
· Assist with training of new employees, if and when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R35 000,00 per month
