The IIE's Varsity College, Online Campus has Part Time vacancies for lecturers in the School of Education for the following:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus, an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8).

The Undergraduate Qualification OR the Honours OR The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8), must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

The Undergraduate Qualification or Postgraduate Qualification must include component subjects to at least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study) – isiZulu, IsiXhosa as a major.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

School Teaching Experience in component subjects (Required).

Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).

Training & Development: 3 years (Required).

Teaching: 3 years (Required).

Please note that positions are part-time, with lecturers taking place between 18:00 and 20:00 on weekdays.
