Purpose of the role
We are looking for a versatile individual with the capability to run and / or have knowledge of conversion machinery (Strech & Shrink Sealing Machines, Slitting Machines) and have comprehensive knowledge of product mix offered by MCC Label Durban.
Key Performance Areas:
- To set up and run the allocated machine.
- Ensure quality standards maintained.
- Run the machine at its optimum capability while maintaining efficiency.
- Consistently produce products that conform to all customer specifications.
- Ensure no and /or minimum waste is generated.
- Always ensure general maintenance and machine housekeeping.
- Participate in all rejected product investigations.
- Open to Multi-skilling.
Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements
- Matric Certificate.
- High levels of accuracy.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to perceive.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Must be able to solve problems.
- Must be prepared to work shifts.
- Must Flexible.
- Be accountable and Responsible.
