The UWC Academic Library is seeking a creative, tech-savvy Librarian or Education Professional with a passion for digital literacy and instructional design to join the Library’s Learning and Teaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating digital literacy tutorials that are student-centred and emphasise active learning
- Developing and present webinars/practical training on digital literacy related topics to staff and students
- Develop digital literacy resources
- Actively contribute to the design of the digital literacies programme that aligns with the Library’s Information literacy programme and the UWC Graduate Attributes.
- Promote the digital literacies programme to secure partnerships. partnering with faculty to develop authentic training opportunities for students. Collaborate with other campus partners
- Devise an annual programme of lunchtime sessions that provide opportunities for students to learn and practice new skills and understandings from their peers.
