IAAMBEACHCLUB | Yoga & Health/Wellness Instructor
Location: Nonoti beach Hyde park kwadukuza kwazulunatal
Type: Part-time / Contract | Freelance
Classes: Beach yoga + wellness sessions, 2x/week min. Sunrise + sunset slots available
About the role
We’re looking for energetic, grounded instructors to lead yoga + wellness experiences that match IAAMBEACHCLUB’s vibe: community, nature, and real wellness. You’ll teach outdoors on the beach, help guests reset, and build a loyal weekly class base.
Key responsibilities
1. Teach classes: Plan + deliver safe, engaging yoga/wellness sessions for mixed levels. 2 classes/week min, more if you want
2. Member experience: Greet members, track attendance, create welcoming space for beginners
3. Program growth: Help build class attendance from 0→10+ regulars through community engagement
4. Safety: Ensure safe practice, give modifications, manage weather/beach conditions
5. Brand alignment: Represent IAAMBEACHCLUB values - inclusive, no-judgment, beach-life wellness
For Yoga Instructors
1. Certification: 200hr YTT minimum, Yoga Alliance registered preferred
2. Styles needed: Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Beach Yoga. Sound bowls/pranayama,general health and wellness = bonus
3. Experience: 1+ year teaching, outdoor classes a plus
For Health/Wellness Instructors
Certification: REPs SA, Fitness SA, or equivalent in wellness/coaching/massage/nutrition
2. Sessions needed: Breathwork, meditation, mobility, women’s wellness circles, cold water immersion intro
3. Experience: 1+ year facilitating groups, workshops, or 1:1 wellness coaching
What we provide
1. Venue: Beachfront space, mats if needed, sound system
2. Marketing: IG posts, stories, member database to fill classes
3. Commission model: R800-R1,200 per class flat, or R900/person/month package split. We chat numbers
4. Community: Collab with other wellness instructors, events, retreats
What we need from you
1. Current first aid + liability insurance
2. Own mats/props if you have them, not required to start
3. Availability for sunrise 6:00-7:00 or sunset 17:00-18:00 slots
4. Vibe: Warm, reliable, shows up on time, loves community
