Housekeeping Manager - 5* Luxury Game Lodge - Limpopo

We're seeking a dynamic and passionate Housekeeping Manager to lead our dedicated team at a prestigious 5-star Luxury Game Lodge. Nestled in the breath-taking landscapes of Hoedspruit, Limpopo, our client's lodge promises a unique blend of luxury, adventure, and natural beauty.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Implement and monitor policies, processes, and standards for effective high-quality housekeeping service.

Understand and report on housekeeping needs and expectations of guests; implement processes for immediate response to guest requests.

Provide direction, oversight, and guidance to the housekeeping team; ensure timely completion of daily workflow.

Submit daily housekeeping discrepancy report to the general manager; conduct morning briefings and daily linen counts.

Monitor laundry department for up-to-date laundry and cleanliness standards.

Collaborate with other departments to maintain effective par-stock levels.

Ensure compliance with security, health, and safety policies; implement keys control system for safety.

Facilitate communication and collaboration within the housekeeping team and across the organization.

Support implementation and monitoring of an effective pest control system.

Ensure consistent, impeccable, intuitive, and proactive customer service to guests.

Implement and report on daily service and operational objectives of the team.
Financial:
- Stock control and stock takes

Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures
Rooms Division:

Manage the housekeeping and laundry departments in conjunction with the General
-
Manager
-
Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically

Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard

Assist with Events planning and execution

Assist with cost control
Package:
-
R18,000 Monthly
-
Accommodation, including meals while on duty
-
21 days on 7 days off work cycle, and 15 days annual leave

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid RSA Driver's License
-
Proficient in MS Office and Email
-
Exceptional Guest Relations skills

Ability to manage staff
-
Understanding and ability to manage the housekeeping department

Ability to plan ahead and problem solve

Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control
Experience:
-
Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5-star lodge necessary
-
Previous housekeeping supervisory experience
