Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

Grade 12

Diploma in Hotel Management, Food and Beverage, or Events

2 years of experience in wedding/banqueting reservations and operations within a 4* or 5* hotel
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Sales and Catering software

Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret budgets, business reports, PNLs, and forecasts

Highly presentable with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the coordination and execution of weddings and events from conception to completion

Liaising with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and providing personalized service throughout the planning process

Coordinating with various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless execution of events, including catering, housekeeping, and maintenance

Managing event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure all details are meticulously planned and executed

Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure venues are set up according to client specifications and hotel standards

Handling inquiries, reservations, and contracts for weddings and events, and maintaining accurate records

Providing on-site support during events to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
