Sales Executive – HJM Offroad 4x4 (Cape Town)

About the Role
HJM Offroad Group is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and promoting premium 4x4 accessories and vehicle upgrade solutions to retail, fleet, commercial, farming, safari, and overlanding customers.
This role is ideal for someone with strong sales experience, a passion for vehicles and off-road products, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities through walk-ins, referrals, social media, phone calls, and field visits.
- Follow up on leads and customer enquiries promptly.
- Prepare quotations and sales proposals.
- Promote and sell premium 4x4 accessories, suspension systems, bumpers, canopies, roof racks, recovery equipment, and vehicle upgrades.
- Build relationships with farmers, fleet operators, safari operators, overlanding enthusiasts, and commercial customers.
- Achieve monthly sales and gross profit targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
- Coordinate with the workshop and fitment teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Attend events, expos, and marketing activations when required.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
- Assist with social media engagement and lead generation activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Email, CRM systems).
- Valid South African driver's license.
- Own reliable transport will be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for 4x4s, overlanding, outdoor lifestyle, and vehicle accessories is highly beneficial.
