We are seeking an exceptional Intermediate Phase Teacher to join our Preparatory School team from January 2027 — an educator who understands that children learn best when they feel seen, challenged, inspired and safe. Someone who can hold high standards and warm relationships in the same breath. Someone who sees the classroom not as a place of delivery, but as a place of discovery.
This role would suit an educator who is energised by inquiry, values collaboration, and thrives in a vibrant school environment where girls are encouraged to think deeply, engage courageously and grow into themselves.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
- Demonstrated experience teaching in the Intermediate Phase.
- Current SACE registration.
- Strong classroom management and communication capability.
- An understanding of current educational practice and assessment approaches.
- Exposure to or experience in Inquiry-Based Learning (advantageous).
You are reflective without being hesitant. Structured without being rigid. You believe that excellence and belonging are not competing ideas. You notice the quiet child, stretch the confident one, and somehow still remember who forgot their water bottle.
You understand that in a girls’ school, education is as much about building voice, confidence and possibility as it is about curriculum.
