Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:
- Barrel testing on a daily basis
- Assist with alternative wood products
- Loading and off-loading trucks
- Ad-hoc duties in other cooperage departments
- Housekeeping & risk control
- Loading effluent water into trucks
- Actively participate in all TPM activites
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications; experience; skills and attributes:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least 1 Year’s experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be physically fit, strong and healthy to cope with the physical demands of the position (e.g. heavy lifting) in an environment with high levels of dust
- Willingness to work overtime and/or irregular hours when required
- Willingness to work in other departments/locations when required
- Punctuality and attendance reliability
