Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to coordinate and support the facilitation of the departmental strategic planning, reporting and evaluation processes. The person will be required to travel when required. This post is stationed in Cape Town - CBD.
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (or equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Coordinate and facilitate the Departmental participation in developing strategic and operational planning processes. Coordinate and facilitate the Department's performance and reporting processes. Coordinate and compile the departmental service delivery improvement initiatives, including DPSA and Public Service Commission compliance. Managerial Functions: Operational management; People Management.
Knowledge of the following: government strategic planning, monitoring, reporting, processes; departmental operation; policies of the government of the day; with specific reference to the provincial growth and development strategy of the Western Cape; global, regional and local political, economic and social affairs impacting on the provincial government of the Western Cape; experience with the legislation,regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line function; understanding of project management; understanding of policy development, and operational management, mornitoring and review processes; understanding of public finance, human resources and discource management processes; and understanding of performance management in general.
R487 197- R 573 897 per annum (Salary Level 9).
