This mid-senior level employee will build relationships with Body Corporate and Homeowners Association scheme executives, to meet the requirements of the relevant legislation, Governance documents and rules pertaining to the schemes.
The Portfolio Manager will convene, attend, chair and minute Annual General Meetings and such other scheme meetings as may be required as well as handle queries from attendees and follow up on items requiring attention, and ensuring compliance with instructions, emanating from meetings.
This employee will liaise with scheme executives in obtaining new business and be intimately involved with the take on process.
This is a deadline driven position where liaison with auditors, attorneys, insurance brokers, maintenance contractors and the like require immediate actioning.
Previous accounting experience in the property industry and knowledge of the Sectional Title Scheme Management and Companies Acts is essential, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all role players while performing your duties is essential.
An excellent command of English as a spoken and written language is a requirement.
