An opportunity exists for a HR Administror to join our dynamic Human Resource Team. The role is to provide comprehensive administrative, coordination, and facilitation support across all HR functions, ensuring employee lifecycle processes are efficiently executed, properly documented, and compliant with South African labour legislation.
This role also includes an element of event organisation, Compliance documentation and submissions and overall HR exposure and support.
This is ideal for an experienced HR Clerk with a Diploma who wants to be exposed to the full generalist HR functions or a dynamic newly qualified BA Industrial Psychologist or equivalent, looking to get experience and a foot in the door.
- Matric and a Diploma in Human Resources of similar, with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role or environment
- BA Industrial Psychology Degree, with 0-2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role or environment
- Previous experience providing support to a busy manufacturing/ production environment advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone, email and in-person communication skills)

- Recruitment & Onboarding: Managing the end-to-end administrative recruitment process (advertising, screening, record keeping).
- IR: Supporting Management (under guidance and support of Head Office HR) in executing the necessary IR matters (incl. warnings, Incapacity meetings and Disciplinary hearings).
- HR Administration: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date physical and digital employee records and ensuring all compliance documenation is updated and in order.
- Training: Coordinating training and development initiatives and assisting with SETA submission yearly.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and statutory regulations (EE, SDL, UIF).
- Coordinating Committees: Coordinating interlinked EE and Health and safety committee meetings including quarterly meetings, ensuring minutes are noted and actioned.
- Wellness: Taking on the wellness portfolio in organising wellness events and employee reward initiatives - liaising with head office and matching the events portfolio.
- Audit support: Supporting in audit information and record keeping (including SMETA audits and Tendor compliance documentation).
