Internship Overview
The successful candidate will work alongside our marketing manager and assist with creating engaging content that showcases the vibrant life of our school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content at school events and activities
- Create and edit engaging social media content, including reels and short-form videos
- Support the school's social media and marketing initiatives
- Assist with content planning and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to strengthen the school's brand presence and communication efforts
Candidate Requirements
- Interest in social media, photography, videography, content creation, or digital marketing
- Basic editing skills using platforms such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and current social media trends
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A creative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Access to a personal laptop
Additional Information
- Position: Paid Social Media & Content Creation Internship
- Location: International Maarif School Cape Town
- Commitment: Part-time, with onsite presence required 4 times per week, as well as attend certain events on weekends if necessary
- Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a short practical task to demonstrate their content creation skills
