About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for our New Vehicles division at Kia Germiston. This role focuses on leading the sales team to achieve targets while enhancing customer satisfaction and driving overall dealership growth. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in shaping our sales strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets for new vehicles.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize vehicle availability and minimize surplus stock.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to devise promotional campaigns and drive dealership traffic.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and legal regulations regarding vehicle sales.
Requirements
- Proven track record in automotive sales management, with a focus on new vehicle sales.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Demonstrable experience in developing sales strategies that drive business success.
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Sound understanding of the automotive market and trends within the South African context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a franchised dealership environment, particularly with reputable vehicle brands.
- Certification or training in sales management or customer relationship management.
