Good Knight Bedding are seeking a Sales assistant for our current Store that is in Kollonade Retail Park .
YOU MUST HAVE RETAIL EXPERIENCE , IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SALES EXP IN SELLING BEDS OR FURNITURE !!! WE WILL NOT CONSIDER YOU FOR PLACEMENT IN THIS ROLE
Basic of R5000 and commissions is payable from the first sale .
We offer the highest commission in the industry ranging from 3% to 10 % per sale from the first sale
we sell beds and furniture , please prepare yourself around the products prior to an interview
Key Responsibility Areas:
· Sales maximization
· Providing excellent customer service at all times
· Basic administration
· Following company policies and procedures
· Assuring that showroom looks presentable at all times
· Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
· Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
· Answering queries from customers.
· Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
· Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
· Balancing cash registers with receipts.
· Dealing with customer refunds.
· Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
· Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
· Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
· Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
· Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Experience and competencies required:
· Matric
· Sales qualification advantageous
· 2 – 3 years’ retail sales experience
