Position: Maths & Science Tutor (Grade 4–12)
Location: Somerset West
Franchise: Master Maths & Master Science
We are seeking a dynamic and highly competent Maths & Physical Science Tutor to join our Master Maths and Master Science team. This is a full-time role in person at the centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality tutoring in:
- Mathematics (Grades 4–12)
- Physical Science (Grades 10–12)
- Adapt quickly to different teaching environments and student needs
- Maintain consistency with Master Maths and Master Science methodologies and values
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and fluent in Afrikaans is an advantage.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Maths (Grade 4–12) and Physical Science (Grade 10–12) with a minimum of 75% in both subjects in grade 12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A teaching qualification or tutoring experience is an advantage, but not essential
- Schedule: Mondays to Thursdays from 09h00-18h00, Fridays from 09h00-17h00 and Saturday mornings 09h00-13h00.
- Compensation: Market related.
