Key responsibilities:
- Assist builders, artisans and site supervisors with daily tasks.
- Load, unload and move building materials.
- Mix cement, mortar and concrete when required.
- Assist with demolition and site preparation.
- Dig trenches and prepare work areas.
- Clean work areas, tools and equipment.
- Remove rubble and keep sites neat and organised.
- Follow instructions from the Site Foreman and management.
- Use basic hand tools safely.
- Follow all company and site safety procedures.
- Assist with general construction, renovation and maintenance work.
Minimum requirements:
- Previous construction or general labour experience is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
- Punctual, dependable and willing to work.
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Sober habits and a professional attitude.
- Reliable transport to and from the designated meeting point or site.
- Valid South African work authorisation.
- Contactable references will be advantageous.

We are interested in applicants with practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Bricklaying and plastering
- Concrete work and screeding
- Tiling
- Painting
- Paving
- Roofing and waterproofing
- Carpentry
- Drywalling and ceilings
- Stonework and masonry
- Plumbing assistance
- General building and renovation work
Key responsibilities:
- Complete assigned work to the required company standard.
- Work independently or as part of a construction team.
- Follow plans, measurements and instructions accurately.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Assist with setting out and preparing work areas.
- Identify and report workmanship or site-related problems.
- Take responsibility for tools, equipment and materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Guide general labourers when required.
- Follow instructions from the Site Foreman and management.
- Correct defective or substandard work when instructed.
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience in construction or a recognised building trade.
- Good practical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to produce neat, accurate and professional work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual construction work.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance.
- Sober habits and a professional attitude.
- Reliable transport to and from the designated meeting point or site.
- Valid South African work authorisation.
- Contactable references.
A driver’s licence, trade qualification and ownership of basic hand tools will be advantageous.
