- Maintain the project registers for risks, issues, actions, dependencies and change requests, and follow up on mitigation and resolution actions.
- Ensure that project artefacts are documented completely and accurately and that the central project repository is kept up to date.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards and packs for the Project Manager, PMO, steering committees and governance forums.
- Coordinate project meetings, capture and distribute minutes, and track resulting actions to closure.
- Support resource tracking, timesheet consolidation and invoicing / milestone verification in line with the contract.
- Support adherence to the adopted project methodology and quality-control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist the Project Manager with operational-readiness tracking and management of interdependencies across projects.
Position Challenges
- Maintaining accurate, timely project information across multiple concurrent SAP work-streams.
- Reconciling financial and schedule data from several sources into a single reliable view.
- Enforcing project-artefact and governance discipline across delivery teams.
Decision Making

- National Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline (NQF Level 6–7).
- Project-management / project-controls certification (e.g. CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) is advantageous.

Skills Required
- Strong command of project-scheduling and controls tools (e.g. MS Project) and MS Excel.
