Purpose of position:
Supporting the claims function with operational efficiency and process management.
Responsibilities:

Supporting operational functions relating to recruitment, employee relations, employee movements, terminations, and the like.

Reporting on operational functions within the claims environment
-
Identifying and reporting on risks and fraudulent activities
-
Acting as the primary liaison between operations, human capital, IT, management and partners
-
Overseeing competence and fit and proper requirements
-
Executing and managing all human capital related matters
Requirements:
-
Matric (essential)
-
FAIS and RE5 will be beneficial
-
A minimum of 3 years' short term insurance claims experience (essential)
-
Claims investigations experience (beneficial)
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role (beneficial)
-
Good understanding of Obelix as well as company policies and procedures
-
Good understanding of relevant legislation (POPIA; Insurance; FAIS; FICA; Companies Act)
-
Thorough understanding of operational controls and employee relations processes
