EXPERIENCED SALESPEOPLE WANTED – CAPE TOWN (NORTHERN & SOUTHERN SUBURBS)
We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Salespeople to join our teams at our BRAND NEW Paarl Branch.
Positions are available in the following departments:
- Small Appliances
- Major Appliances
- Audio & Visual
- Bedding
- Furniture
If you have a passion for retail, enjoy working with customers, and have strong product knowledge in your department, we want to hear from you.
IMPORTANT: Applicants MUST have previous retail sales experience in the SAME department they are applying for.
Examples:
- Audio & Visual applicants must have previous Audio & Visual sales experience
- Furniture applicants must have previous Furniture sales experience
- Bedding applicants must have previous Bedding sales experience
Candidates without relevant department experience will not be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers with sales and product advice
- Help customers telephonically and provide excellent customer service
- Recommend products based on customer needs
- Process sales, invoices, and quotations
- Follow up with customers during and after sales
- Liaise with warehouses regarding stock and deliveries
- Merchandise and maintain department presentation standards
- Assist with stock takes and stock control
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Assist with special orders and supplier-related queries
Requirements:
- Previous retail sales experience in the relevant department is ESSENTIAL
- Strong product knowledge in the department applying for
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Clear criminal record
- South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
- Reliable transport
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Target-driven and confident working with customers
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST be willing and available to:
- Work weekends and public holidays
- Work retail / mall trading hours
- Work shifts as required by the store
