GRILLER Skills and Responsibilities

Prepare meat and vegetables as per the PAUL Standards

Follow all relevant food and safety guidelines

Assist in mainitaning inventory by tracking, labelling and replacing key ingredients

Communicate with the Restaurant Manager about any key supplies and upgrades that are needed
-
Taking daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination
-
Responsible for controlling food wastage, without compromising food quality
-
Ensure all the kitchen records are maintained properly at all the time
-
Ensure prompt, courteous and accurate service to all customers to achieve high level of guest satisfaction
-
Ensure that preparations, cooking methods, portioning and presentation are accurate and according to the PAUL Standards
-
Responsible for controlling food wastage, without compromising on food quality
-
Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperatures and served in a timely manner
-
Monitor Food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
-
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to established standards
-
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of raw meat and other ingredients
-
Assist with cleaning and maintainance tasks in the kitchen as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

Ability to operate and maintain grilling equipment
-
Ability to work in a fast paced enviromnment

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Excellent Communication and Team work skills
-
Prior experince as a griller or in a similar role
-
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects
-
Knowledge of different cooking techniques and seasoning
-
Culinary Certification is an added advantage
