Full Job Description

Receiving and cataloguing of samples in the laboratory.
Organizing and preparing samples.
Assists in the preparation of stains, culture media, and reagents
Receives instruction in and performs microbiological, (bacteriological, serological and molecular) assays for the detection and identification of bacterial agents of diseases using well-defined procedures.
Keeps records and makes reports on assignments received.

BSc Hons in Microbiology or related field/B-Tech in Veterinary Technology.
Background knowledge of Microbiology (Bacteriology, Serology and PCR).
Good interpersonal skills.
A driver’s license will be an added advantage.
