Overview :
The main purpose of this role is to support the QA Manager by conducting laboratory and in-process quality checks to ensure that raw materials, packaging and finished products meet required quality and food safety standards. The role is responsible for completing, verifying and filing food safety and quality documentation accurately, supporting AIB, HACCP, GMP and hygiene compliance on the production lines, and assisting with quality-related administrative activities as required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging and finished products to confirm compliance with approved quality and food safety specifications.

Perform routine in-process quality checks on production lines and escalate non-conformances or deviations to the QA Manager/Supervisor and relevant production team.

Capture, verify and maintain key quality and food safety records, both written and electronic, ensuring accuracy, traceability and timely filing.

Apply laboratory, hygiene and factory procedures safely and consistently in line with GMP, HACCP, AIB and site food safety requirements.

Conduct internal GMP, housekeeping and foreign matter inspections and report findings that may impact product quality, food safety or compliance.

Support product acceptability decisions by providing accurate test results, inspection findings and quality information to the QA Manager and production team.

Participate as part of the Quality and Food Safety Team by supporting investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities when required.

Assist with quality-related administrative tasks, documentation control and follow-up actions as assigned by the QA Manager.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 NSC or equivalent
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry

Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards (FSSC, AIB)

Computer Literate (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PPT)

2 years minimum experience in a Food Manufacturing Industry
