Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Administrator with at least 1 year of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounts administration role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of accuracy and reliability.
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
