Requirements
- Gauteng based
- Been in a DevOps/ Systems Administrator role
- 4 years proven experience working with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Cloud Platforms
- Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Strong Scripting skills
- VMware
- Databases, Networks (LAN,WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of System security and data backup/recovery
What you will be doing :
- Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of server software and hardware
- User/group management
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments
- Maintain documentation of implemented systems and processes
- Infrastructure level escalation point for technical support
- Ongoing training of support staff on new technologies and processes
- Test and implement new software tools and technology
