Omniflex is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronic Production Technician to join our dynamic team in Durban. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless production of our cutting-edge electronic products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic products by applying problem-solving techniques and technical knowledge down to component level. This includes:
- Working with the bill of materials to ensure accurate assembly and component selection.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to guide assembly and troubleshooting tasks.
- Utilising knowledge of electronic components to support assembly and troubleshooting efforts.
Process Optimisation: Collaborate closely with the production team to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, testing results, and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical certification or degree/diploma in electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Pay: R8 000,00 - R14 000,00 per month
