We are looking for a Landscape Maintenance Manager to join a reputable and well-established company based in Douglasdale, Johannesburg. This is a permanent position with a salary of R16 000.00 to R18 000.00 per month, plus a company car.
For this position you must have work experience as a Site Manager/ Area Manager/ Maintenance Manager in the Horticultural Landscaping field.
The company focuses on maintaining established landscapes for Sectional Title Complexes, HOA's and Security/ Golf Estates around Gauteng. The individual that will fill the position must be able to fulfill duties and work under pressure to ensure throughput to client satisfaction.
Job overview:
- Driving to sites to manage staff allocated to landscape maintenance sites.
- Inspection on sites to ensure high quality work is done by site staff.
- Inspecting projects and cleanliness of sites.
- General administration duties.
- Staff timesheets and data capturing.
- Managing a team of around 100+ Gardeners and Cleaners.
- Supervising multiple landscape sites proactively.
- Sourcing, interviewing and appointing suitable site staff.
- Quality Control and managing agreement KPI's.
- Reporting to Operations Manager on daily goals and targets.
- Meeting with clients on request during and after business hours.
- Staff management and procurement will form part of your duties.
- Time and attendance and minor HR duties.
- Identifying and quoting on MI's.
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma or similar qualification will be preferred.
- Landscaping maintenance experience is required.
- Small machine operations knowledge.
- Irrigation basic knowledge.
- Corporate Landscaping industry experience is a must.
