Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Recruitment of all staff.
- Liaising with project managers and supervisors.
- Screening/ evaluation of CV together with project managers.
- Reference checks, credit and criminal checks.
- Obtaining authorisation from MD/ PM.
- Filling in the form with a relevant document for Payroll, obtaining a signature from the MD
- Conduct induction programme
Employee Relations
- Providing advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures
- Attending meetings to discuss and assist with misconduct etc.
- Providing minutes of meetings.
Talent Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal documents and consolidate performance ratings
- Managing Training and Development.
- Conduct training needs and skill gap analysis.
- Assist our consultant with reporting and submission of workplace skills plans.
- Assist with the compilation of employment equity reports as and when needed.
- Hold employment equity committee meetings and draw quarterly reports as and when needed.
- Attend to Labour Dept inspections.
HR Administration
- Manage new employee onboarding process.
- Manage terminations and exit interviews.
- Provide advice and information to management and employees on Labour Act Law etc.
- Advise management on employees' career development.
- Draft letter to send communication with staff.
- Updating HR policies and procedures as and when needed.
- Liaising with MD/FM on any changes to Payroll and obtaining signed documents
- Prepare monthly payroll reports every month.
- Capture and file approved leave on a System
- Manage Time and Attendance on reports
- Managing traffic fines incurred by staff that have been paid by the company
- Health and Safety = procedure and protocols in compliance with Workmen’s Compensation
- Filing and general administration
Terminations
- Outboarding / exit survey
- Checking returned company equipment
- Hearings- advise on hearing and providing relevant documentation
- Issue warnings, draft changes,
- Consult with consultants who will chair the meeting
- Preparation for hearing and attending the meeting
- Manage the termination process with employees e.g. UIF forms
Desired Experience & Qualification
· Experience 3-5 years
· Relevant degree or diploma
. Be computer literate
. Have your own transport
