RCL FOODS is currently recruiting for a well-experienced QA Monitor (Halaal) to join our Speciality Business Unit in Centurion. The QA Monitor (Halaal) will be responsible for duties related to Halaal Certification.
Inspection of all delivery vehicles to ensure halaal compliance.
Monitor all incoming deliveries for compliance.
Recording and compiling of daily reports of all goods received
Updating of raw material and supplier list- Updated report should be compiled and sent to MJC at each month end.
Advise the Halaal Authority of any new product received and get approval from them before it can be released for use.
Liaise with suppliers and ensure that you have updated halaal certificates for all ingredients.
Conduct daily walkabouts (every hour or 2/3) to all storage and processing areas- inspections to be done to ensure compliance. Records for these inspections should be kept on file for audits.
Monitor compliance of employees to ensure no cross contamination.
All non- conformances should be reported immediately.
Enforcing GMP’s and hygiene practices.
Practicing Muslim and understanding of Halaal compliance in the manufacturing environment
Enforcing and maintaining the Halaal protocol in the workplace
Strong Islamic Education
Previous Halaal monitoring experience
Previous industry experience
Technical experience would be an advantage
Computer Literate
