VACANCY: FLEET CONTROLLER

Location: Kloof
We are seeking a Fleet Controller to manage and coordinate our fleet of trucks, vehicles and yellow plant operating across various construction and plant hire projects.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily fleet and plant availability, location and utilisation.
Coordinate allocation and movement of plant between sites.
Manage breakdowns, repairs and preventative maintenance.
Monitor vehicle licences and COFs.
Ensure daily vehicle and plant inspections are completed.
Maintain maintenance records, job cards and fleet registers.
Monitor fuel consumption, kilometres and machine operating hours.
Coordinate mechanics, workshops and external suppliers.
Obtain and compare quotations for repairs, tyres and spare parts.
Monitor tyre condition and replacement.
Arrange lowbed transportation and plant mobilisation where required.
Provide management with regular fleet status and downtime reports.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric.
Previous Fleet Controller/Fleet Management experience, preferably within construction, transport or plant hire.
Good knowledge of trucks and yellow plant.
Understanding of maintenance, breakdowns, licensing and COF requirements.
Good Microsoft Excel and administrative skills.
Valid driver's licence.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational requirements.
