**Role Overview:**
The Shopify POS and Stock-Keeping Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Shopify POS systems, ensuring accurate stock levels, and enhancing overall inventory management. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless store operations and delivering an excellent customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Shopify POS Management:**
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Shopify POS systems.
- Train store staff on the efficient use of Shopify POS systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of Shopify POS with inventory management and sales reporting tools.
- **Stock-Keeping:**
- Maintain accurate stock levels across all store locations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement effective stock management strategies to minimize shrinkage and optimize inventory turnover.
- **Inventory Management:**
- Monitor and forecast inventory needs based on sales data and trends.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock items.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting:**
- Generate and analyze reports on sales, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory management and sales performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Shopify POS system.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in stock-keeping and managing POS systems, preferably Shopify.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficient in using Shopify POS and associated inventory management software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in retail or e-commerce settings.
- Familiarity with retail analytics and forecasting tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and vendor management.
