cRole Description
This is a contract on-site role as a VMware Administrator at client in Stellenbosch, Cape Town. The VMware Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting, server administration, managing infrastructure, providing technical support, and overseeing operating systems within the organization.
We require an individual with a VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) qualification and extensive on-the-job experience in VMware technologies.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A VCAP certification.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing large and complex VMware environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Candidate will be an integral part of clients team, contributing to the ongoing management and optimization of our VMware infrastructure. Looking for someone who can bring expertise and efficiency to client’s operations
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
- Server Administration and Infrastructure management skills
- Experience with Operating Systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware
- Certifications in VMware or relevant IT certifications
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Experience in IT security practices
Term and Remuneration
- Contract Term - 6 to 12 Months
- Salary - Market Related.
