The person must meet the following requirements:
1. Agricultural qualification/knowledge/interest in at least one of the following fields:
a. Entomology
b. Plant pathology
c. Nematology
d. Microbiology
e. Farm management
2. Computer literate in Microsoft Office
3. Can speak, read and write fluent English (and preferably also Afrikaans).
4. Strong administration skills preferable
5. Get along well with people
6. Be prepared to work long and irregular hours if necessary
7. Be prepared to receive initial training in the Western Cape
8. AVCASA qualification will count in the person's favour
9. Driver's license
10. Sober habits
11. No criminal record
