About the Company
Dr. Pope's office, based in Conyers, Georgia (outside Atlanta), provides DOT physicals and drug and alcohol testing for truck drivers and other commercial transportation workers. Dr. Pope travels on-site to trucking and transportation companies to conduct physicals and testing during new-hire orientations, and the practice is working from a purchased list of companies with DOT numbers (dump trucks, 18-wheelers, hazmat carriers) within 50 miles of the office.
About the Role
This role is an outbound, appointment-setting position calling into a targeted list of trucking and transportation companies to introduce Dr. Pope's DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing services. The caller will work from an existing list of 5,000+ active leads and a script already provided by the client, using the client's dialing software (OMA/Ooma Office) to make calls and Google Sheets to log outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to trucking and transportation companies from the provided lead list, using Dr. Pope's existing call script and the client's dialing software (OMA/Ooma Office).
- Ask to be directed to the person who handles DOT physicals or the company's safety director.
- When reaching the decision-maker, explain that Dr. Pope's office is in the area and offer to either schedule an in-person visit for Dr. Pope to drop off information, or email them information and pricing.
- Log call notes and outcomes in Google Sheets after each call.
What We're Looking For
- Comfort making outbound calls and working from a provided script.
- Clear, understandable spoken English (no strong accent required, no specific country of origin required).
- Comfort learning and using simple dialing software (training takes under 15 minutes).
- Ability to accurately log call notes and outcomes in Google Sheets.
- Reliable availability for a part-time, 20 hour/week schedule, Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Eastern.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $2–$4 per hour, based on experience.
